Oral presentation

  • The official language is English.
  • Presentation format: MS Office PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) and/or PDF format and bring it to the conference room 15 minutes before your session starts.
  • Time of presentation:
    • Plenary Lecture (PL) - 30 minutes (including 5 minutes for questions from the audience),
    • Key Lecture (KL) - 25 minutes (including 5 minutes for questions from the audience),
    • Oral Presentation (OP) - 20 minutes (including 5 minutes for questions from the audience),
    • Flash Talk (FT) (Young Scientists Session)
      Flash Talk is a short oral presentation, limited to 5 minutes. In that short speech you will present a scientific concept or idea in a manner understandable to those outside your immediate field.
      Four static (without animation, music, video...) PowerPoint or PDF slides are permitted.
      The clock begins to run as soon as the Presenter begins speaking

Poster presentation (PP)

  • The official language is English.
  • Poster size: max. B1 (width: 70.7 cm; height: 100.0 cm).
  • Presenters are expected to be present at their posters during the dedicated poster session times. The exact location of each poster presentation will be listed in the final program.
  • You are responsible for setting up your poster before the Poster Session (16 Sep, 12.00-14.00) and taking it down after that.

Poster & Flash Talk Prizes

All poster presentations will be reviewed by a Scientific Committee and three best poster presentations will be awarded.

Oral presentations (Flash Talks) during the Young Scientists Session will be reviewed by a Young Scientists Session Committee and two best oral presentations will be awarded.
